Katy Perry makes first post-split red carpet appearance!

Katy Perry was scheduled to appear at the Peoples Choice Awards earlier this month, but decided to pull out at the last minute. Which was a shame as she ended up winning an impressive five awards. The One That Got Away singer did on to finally finish off her world tour in Indonesia though. And now shes hit the red carpet for the first time since Russell Brand officially announced their break up one month ago.

The 27-year-old singer joined her friend jewellery designer Markus Molinari as his date at acharity event in Las Vegas. Katy and her pal showed up to the GiveLove event at 1Oak, and Markus told reporters that Katy wanted to attend the party as she thought it was for a good cause, I told her about the cause and she wanted to support it. We support each other and that's what friends do, he revealed to Us Weekly.
