Katy Perry is blooming lovely in red floral dress

The California Gurl sported a sheer red dress with white flowers as she left Dominicks Restaurant in West Hollywood last night.

She teamed it with red platform sandals and a cute, floral Alice band as she enjoyed a meal out with her dad, Keith Hudson.

But she wasnt taking any chances in the chilly night air, contrasting the light, summery look with a heavy black biker jacket.

The singer gave a surprise performance at The Grove shortly before meeting her minister parent.

In a recent clip from her movie, Part Of Me, she revealed that she persuaded her sister, Angela, to break the news that her first single would be I Kissed A Girl.

But she denied that her devoutly religious parents ever cut her out of their lives.

She said: I think people like the idea of a good girl gone bad and they think that my parents have disowned me, but that's not the story at all.
