Katy Perry wants to make acoustic album
The singer said that artists such as Patty Griffin have inspired her to make a more stripped-back record in the future and that she is looking forward to working on the project when it comes around.
Perry told The Sun. "I've always wanted to make something like an acoustic record. My favourite record is Patty Griffin's Flaming Red. I discovered it when I was in Nashville.
"I definitely want to do a Patty Griffin-esque thing at some point. It's something that I'm really excited about because I know I can do it and I haven't really played that card yet."
Perry recently confessed that her third studio album will deal with the breakdown of her marriage to Russell Brand and said the music will "get real f**king dark".
