Katy Perry has been linked to Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd.

The singer was seen holding hands with Ackroyd on Sunday at Coachella, NME reports.

The pair were in the audience watching Rihanna's performance during Calvin Harris's set. Perry tweeted on several occasions from the Los Angeles festival, saying that she "almost cried" upon seeing Tupac's hologram.

It was reported yesterday that Perry has been trying to rekindle a relationship with ex-husband Russell Brand.

The singer revealed recently that her third studio album will be "real f**king dark".
