Katy Perry cuts estranged husband Russell Brand out of 3D documentary 'Part of Me'
Those who were looking forward to getting a glimpse behind the scenes in the Katy Perry/Russell Brand divorce are out of luck, as the pop stars upcoming 3D documentary Part of Me will no longer include any clips of Brand, or Perry talking about him for that matter.
Sources told UK's The Sun that the singer chose to cut Brand entirely out of the documentary, which goes behind the scenes of her life while shes on tour.
Theres loads of stuff in there that relates to her life with Russell and shes really not comfortable about it all going in," said the source.
Perry also recently spoke about wanting to keep her personal life private, but keeping her career an open book.
She told Interview magazine last month, I dont really ever tolerate it especially when it comes to my personal life or my family. When Im working, Im all yours. But when Im not working, stay the f away.
She continued to say, Thats how it goes. So whoever made up the idea that everyone has the right to every bit of information about you because youre famous No one made that rule. Its not a law, and if you think it is, then you dont really understand how the world works, PopCrush reports.
Meanwhile, Perry has moved on with the guitarist for Florence and the Machine, Robert Ackroyd, as the two took their relationship public at Coachella over the weekend.
