A source told The Sun that Perry had removed scenes featuring comedian Brand following their divorce earlier this year.

The insider explained: "There's loads of stuff in there that relates to her life with Russell and she's really not comfortable about it all going in."

Perry and Brand married in October 2010, but their relationship came to an end in December 2011, when Brand filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences".

It was recently rumoured that Perry may want a reunion with the British actor.

Katy Perry: Part of Me is scheduled for release in US and UK cinemas on July! 4.
