Katy Perry tweets praise to Jessie J

You know youve made it when Katy Perry tweets you her approval.

Theres no denying the fact that Jessie Js already made it, but still, it mustve felt pretty great to get a tweet from Katy praising her singing.

The Domino singer received the tweet after she performed at The Roxy in West Hollywood earlier this week. The Wanted were there to support their fellow Brit as she tries to crack the US market.

Katy re-tweeted a comment by her music producer Dr Luke.

She made the point that Jessie schools everyone.

The Fireworks singer also re-tweeted a message from Jessie herself in regard to a T-shirt she was seen wearing, which featured Nintendo favourites Mario and Luigi.

While Katy and Jessie have been buddying up on Twitter, some of Jessies fans have been very vocal with their thoughts on Jessies new music video for her single Laserlight ft David Guetta.

The video features Jessie in an array of saucy costumes, getting ready in front of a mirror, hanging in a cinema then dancing in a club.

One fan said on Twitter: Not going to lie @jessiejofficial I dont really like the Laserlight vid, I can speak for a lot of heartbeats we don't really think its "you".

Jessie calls her fans her heartbeats, by the way.

Jessie soon responded by tweeting: And whats me?.. Different is good, change is normal, growth is important.
