The just-wrapped Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina was a decidedly rockin', poppin', funky affair!
Hollywood fave DJ Cassidy was hired by President Barack Obama's team to spin tunes inside the the Time Warner Cable Arena on the night of Thursday Sept. 6, when Obama, 51, victoriously accepted the nomination to run once again for his party.
DJ Cassidy is the first-ever DJ hired for a Democratic (or Republican, for that matter) National Convention -- and indeed, was the first-ever DJ hired to play at a Presidential Inauguration and at the White House itself.

The record-spinner selected a wildly diverse mix of rousing, anthemic tunes -- from Beyonce (a favorite of Michelle Obama and her daughters) to Black Eyed Peas to U2.
