Perry gets a final touch-up before her concert

Fans mean the world to Perry

EVEN if you are not a big fan of pop princess Katy Perry, her latest 3-D movie concert, Katy Perry: Part of Me has so much to offer that even after the credit rolls, the audience will still find something to talk about.

For one, the concert movie after the likes of The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber chronicles Perrys journey as a singer. From her biggest breakthrough with I Kissed A Girl (from One Of The Boys album) to achieving five No. 1 hit singles in the Billboard chart ( from the album Teenage Dream), Perrys meteoric rise is vivid and colourful here.

Fans will catch a glimpse of the 27-year-old artistes life, pre- and post- her big break.

Starting just like any other girls her age who dream of performing on stage, Perry comes from a very religious family (both her parents are Christian preachers). Gospel music was the only genre she was allowed to listen to.

The audience then gets to watch exclusive interviews with her parents, grandmother, siblings and close friends.

Theres also a peek into Perrys relations! hip with her ex-husband, British actor-comedian Russell Brand. The couple divorced in 2011, after just 14 months of marriage.

Besides being a fun-filled concert movie, it is also an inspirational story. Perrys self-control and determination are the reasons for her success.

There are some heart-breaking moments when, after the divorce, she suffered a breakdown prior to a show in Brazil. But Perry being her bubbly self, refused to let her personal problem get in the way of wowing her fans.

At the meet-and-greet sessionwith her fans, she put on a brave face, smiling and taking pictures with them, blaming her outfits and hair for taking too long to put on.

With over 300 hours of footages, the final film was cut down to barely 120 minutes. Nevertheless, with its 3-D effects, it is a visual feast for the eyes.
