Katy Perry 'Gives John Mayer Key To Her LA Home'

Things seem to be hotting up between Katy Perry and John Mayer with reports suggesting the Firework singer has given her new man his own key to her LA home.

Despite owning a pad in Los Angeles, The Sun claims that Mayer usually stays in hotels when visiting from New York - with Katy now suggesting he should be with her instead.

A source revealed: "John thinks it is easier to stay in hotels rather than his own LA pad. But Katy insists he should stay with her. She thinks it makes sense.

The 27-year old's family and friends are said to be 'happy' that Katy is moving on from her failed marriage to Russell Brand, but are 'begging' her to slow down.

The tabloid claims that pals were even joking that Perry and Mayer would tie the knot at an Elvis chapel during their recent trip to Las Vegas - but instead, the pair hit a strip club together instead.

It is thought that Katy is 'desperate' for her romance with John to work out, with an insider previously telling The Sun: "She doesn't want to get her heart broken again, but she feels a real connection and wants to see where things go."
