Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry have Barbie dolls being auctioned for charity
Nicki Minaj fans have been calling themselves Barbies for a good long while now, but they finally will have a shot to see their queen immortalized in plastic.That's right, Nicki is getting her very own Barbie doll, which is going to get sold off for charity. Oh, Katy Perry is having one made by Mattel too, but we don't have a photo of that one.
CharityBuzz.com will auction off both dolls starting Friday and running through Dec. 19 to benefit ProjectAngel Food, which helps men, women and children affected by AIDS. Bidding will start at $1,000, so we hope you've saved your pennies.
TMZ says the Nicki doll is so detailed "every signature detail, right down to the tattoo on Nicki's left arm." Well. No wonder that skirt is so poofy, then. We're sure the Katy Perry one only needed to repurpose your typical top-heavy Barbie mold, though.
