"The first fragrance was more floral, by a long while, and this one is a lot more edible," she explained. "I think that if you can hear a song, and it'll take you back to that moment, or that person, or that time in your life. Same thing with your sense of smell - it's really powerful. So I thought I could make memories for people with Purr or Meow!"

Revealing her inspiration behind the cat-shaped bottle's design, she added: "I grew up going to flea markets, and all the vintage stores and the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles. I'd always look for milk glass - that beautiful, vintage milk glass that held candles, or salt and pepper. I definitely wanted to use it for Meow!"
Discussing her blonde hair, Perry joked that fans could one day see her go f! or a mor e drastic change: "I'm having fun with my hair colour because I was black-haired for ten years. That was a long time, so I just decided to change things up, try new things and see what worked. Who knows? I'll probably have to shave my head one day because of it."
Perry recently became the third act in Billboard chart history to have six top five tracks from the same album.
