Katy Perry debuts a cropped light pink and blond 'do at a benefit Saturday, December 3, in Los Angeles. The naturally blond singer, who welcomed 2011 as a brunette, has experimented with different hues this year.
The pop star sports a bright pink updo at the American Music Awards on November 20. Perry was first spotted with bubblegum locks in August. She showed off the wild hue -- with help from some
unconventional hair accessories -- at MTV's Video Music Awards.
At the premiere of the animated movie "The Smurfs" in New York in July, Perry dons a
Smurfette dress and nails as well as a lighter ginger hue.
Perry tweeted about dying her hair a secret color (pink) in June. But when things didn't go as planned, she updated her followers: "So I didn't get to the exact color I wanted from being black for so long! To get to goal I have to be a ginger for three weeks!" She showed off her ginger locks in June while promoting her Purr perfume in Toronto.
Perry goes back to her infamous blue locks during Paris Fashion Week in March. (She first donned the look in early 2010.) But unlike her pink 'do, it was easy for Perry to achieve this shiny blue hue -- the fashion risk taker opted ! for a wi g rather than hitting the salon.
Perry carries her dark brown locks from 2010 into the new year. In January, she arrives at the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles with soft raven curls.
