Katy Perry shares her favorite holiday memories and traditions
Katy Perry has been preparing for the holiday season since October 1st, and now that Christmas is a little over two weeks away, shes revealing her favorite holiday traditions and memories.
In a new interview with USA Weekend Perry, 28, reveals that even though shes a California Gurl, she does enjoy a good Christmas sweater party, and even snow once in awhile. Perry, who grew up in Santa Barbara, also enjoys her family time. Time spent opening gifts and watching Home Alone.
Were the type of family who opens up one Christmas present the night before, she shared. Shes learned, though, that the best gift isnt always the biggest. If you pick the huge one, it was always a box within a box within a box so a pair of socks, basically.
Gift giving isnt the only thing she enjoys about Christmastime, she also looks forward to the Home Alone marathon every year.
Home Alone [ is my must see Christmas movie]. I love when the mom goes, Uh, did we forget something? Kevin! We have it on replay and everyone watches it forever.
Katys Christmas will be a little different this year, though. Her cousin recently had a baby girl named Kai. She introduced her to her fans on Twitter on Thanksgiving. She is the first baby in her family in 24 years.
Perry told Sugarscape, before the babys arrival, that this year, All eyes will be on that little baby girl.
