Katie may have gone through a high-profile divorce in 2012 from actor Tom Cruise, but she still kept her fit body and was named the hottest revenge body of the year! Do YOU agree?

Katie Holmes went through a lot of personal drama in 2012 a high-profile divorce from actor Tom Cruise, moving permanently to New York City and caring for her daughter Suri Cruise as a single mom. But the actress and fashion designer still managed to stay fit through it all and earned her this years hottest revenge body, according toFitness magazine.

The magazine ranked their annual fit list, and for 2012 the divorced single mom was named best revenge body and rightfully so. Katie is frequently spotted at New York Citys full-body cycling studio Soul Cycle, and loves a diet full of fruits and veggies.

Runner-up for best revenge body was Katy Perry after her high-profile divorce from Russell Brand was finalized in the summer of 2012. During her frequent outings with new boyfriend John Mayer, she looks hotter than ever!

Since her split, Katie has been busy focusing on her career, including a leading role in the Broadway play Dead Accounts, and making a life for herself as a mom to daughter Suri in the Big Apple.She also headlined the 2012 Style Awards in NYC, and is also busy with her clothing line Holmes and Yang.

Post-Divorce Independence

But the summer started out pretty rocky for the actress. She filed for divorce from Tom Cruise in June 2012, and not only blindsided him with the divorce papers but also for full-! custody o! f their daughter Suri.
