Has Katy Perry's new guy John Mayer been slipping back into his lothario ways? Yes according to a US tabloid report that's accused the rocker of sexting another woman.

While Katy and John might have made their debut on the red carpet as a couple last week looking totes loved up, Star magazine reckons things aren't going well between the pair. With claims John has been sending inappropriate text messages to another woman.

They reported a source as saying: Katy caught John sexting someone else. He basically was telling another woman how hot she was. [Katy] flipped out.

Katy expected an explanation, but all she got was a lame excuse. Now shes more worried than ever that hes a serial cheater.

Did they see the loved up pair at the Rolling Stone concert? Katy and John looked happier than ever.

We're not sure about Star magazine, who are known for their far fetched tales, latest "source", Katy and John don't seem to be on the rocks from their latest outings in New York.

Love hasn't exactly run smoothly for the 'Firework' star.

While her career has sky rocketed, Katy admitted following her split from Russell Brand last December, that her relationships haven't always been easy.

She told the Daily Mirror: I've learned I'm in a very modern fairy tale. But I also know I don't need the Prince Charming to have a happy ending. I can make the happy ending myself. Being in love is the dream. But the reality of making it work is not like the movies.

But is John her Prince Carming? We hope so!
