American Idol guest star Katy Perry has been rumored to be dating John Mayer since this summer, after splitting from Russell Brand earlier last year. Katy and John have been spotted together quite frequently lately, despite denying a relationship. While the couple hasnt officially confirmed anything, they did spend lots of time together over the Christmas holiday, which definitely brings their relationship up a no! tch!
John Mayer and Katy Perry went out earlier this year with Johns father to dinner at Sardis before heading to Broadway to see A Christmas Story: The Musical. The next day Katy and John went to see The Rolling Stones. The pair returned to Katys hometown of Santa Barbara for Christmas so John could meet Katys family. The pair was snapped quite frequently around Santa Barbara, and John was reportedly excited to take their relationship to the next level. Sources close to the pair said, They are seriously in love and exclusive. When it came to John meeting the family, the source added,Theyre happy together and with her family for the holidays. John really likes getting to know Katys family better. John is entirely focused on Katy.
Katy also tweeted the first picture that may confirm the relationship status of the two. In a picture posted on Twitter, John Mayer is relaxing in a chair dressed as Santa, with quite a lovey dovey look on his face. A caption for the image says Santa Baby. Were all very sure the two are smitten with each other. Could this mean wedding bells for the pair in the future? I dont know about you, but it seems that Katy couldnt find anyone more of an opposite to her ex Russell than John!
