Katy Perry's latest single is on track to become her biggest Billboard debut ever, following impressive first week sales.

The achievement will also mark the highest opening week sales for any act since Lady GaGa's 'Born This Way' sold 448,000 back in February 2011.

Perry performed the track at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12). The song is the lead single from her repackaged second album Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection.

Meanwhile, Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep' is on track to sell 250,000 downloads, 'Set Fire to the Rain' is likely to sell 220,000, and 'Someone Like You' could shift 170,000 digital copies before the end of the week, following her triumph at the Grammys.

One Direction, who are currently launching their career in the States, will shift around 120,000 copies of 'What Makes You Beautiful' for their Billboard debut.
