Katy Perry Sells First Marital Home For Almost $3Million

Katy Perry has sold the New York penthouse she once shared with ex-hubby Russell Brand for almost $3million.

According to The New York Post, the Part Of Me singer managed to shift the 1,500-square-foot apartment - which is thought to have been her first martial home with Brand - for $2.75million.

Located on North Moore Street, the duplex boasts of two bedrooms, a cherry wood staircase and a south-facing terrace with breathtaking views of the Big Apple.

K-Pez purchased the plush pad back in September 2010, just one month before her wedding to Russell in India.

Just 14-months later, the 36-year old funnyman filed for divorce from Katy back in December 2011, citing "irreconcilable differences" as his reason for terminating their marriage.

A Los Angeles judge later granted the former couple their divorce in February, with it expected to be official in July.

Since their split, Perry is now said to be dating Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd after meeting him at Coachella earlier this month.
