Katy Perry: 'I feel like I live in a fairytale' - video
Katy Perry has admitted that she feels like she's living in a fairytale.
"I think Katy is a dreamer. Her dream is to get to be herself and inspire other people," one of her costume designers explained.
In a clip taken from her new concert film Part of Me 3D, the star is seen trying on colourful outfits inspired by a children's wonderland for her 'California Dreams' tour.
"I think Katy is a dreamer. Her dream is to get to be herself and inspire other people," one of her costume designers explained.
Another added: "There's definitely an undertone of Katy's life being represented. It's a little bit of Alice In Wonderland and it's Dorothy in Oz - she wants fans to experience a fantastical world that she dreamed up."
Talking about the genre, Perry said: "I feel a real connection to fairytales and I think in some ways I live in a fairytale."
Katy Perry's new concert film Part of Me 3D will be in cinemas from July 5.
The singer will release new single 'Wide Awake' in support of the film on July 2.
