'Shy' Katy Perry Gets 'Turned Down By Business Man On Night Out'
WENNKaty Perry doesn't exactly strike us as the shy type, she married Russell Brand after all and found fame with a song about kissing a girl, but the 27 year-old was reportedly anything but an extrovert on a night out in Hollywood earlier this week as she tried to chat up a mystery man.
The 'Firework' star, who was most recently linked to the newly single Robert Pattinson was at Soho House in West Hollywood on Wednesday night when a group of businessmen caught her eye. But the star didn't march over and demand to know which lucky guy was taking her home, she reportedly asked to get introduced to them and spoke in a cute voice.

An eyewitness told People: "[Katy] looked timid and shy while standing there, like lingering to be introduced to everyone,"
"She waited patiently to get introduced to some members of the group but most of them seemed otherwise distracted."
Conversation reportedly died out quickly and Katy left soon after. Who knew that Perry was so bad at speaking to guys? We would have thought she was a bit of a man eater after taking on the lothario Russell Brand and even getting him down the aisle.

He isn't the only wild boy she likes, as Katy became the latest notch on John Mayer's bedpost this summer after the couple enjoyed a steamy fling. Perhaps the star has lost a bit of her mojo since Mayer brutally dumped her via email.
A source told Us Weekly: "He dumped her over email. She was furious and really hurt. She was into him, but he wasn't feeling it."
His reason for the brutal dismissal?
The source added: "[John grew] tired of Perry's hard partying and decided to pull the plug."
