Katy Perry and John Mayer have been making headlines lately as one of the music community's biggest maybe couples of the moment. Neither Katy nor John have commented (yet?) on the notable spike in time spent together, but ever since they were photographed together leaving L.A.'s Chateau Marmont, the prospect of "JohnKat" has definitely been raising eyebrows for the past month. Now, it seems Perry and Mayer are sharing more than just time and memories - they're sharing style sensibilities, too!

John Mayer has been rocking this bandelero hat steez a while now, but the Southwestern felted chapeau style is definitely a new one for Katy. We're fully aware of how big the frontier look is poised to be for fall (see Mara Hoffman, Band of Outsiders, and Rodarte for a refresher), AND that could very well be responsible for Katy's newly adopted Western wear - the short brimmed hat, the tailoring, the spiritual jewelry. But it's just as likely that all the time she's been spending hanging out with John Mayer may be having an effect on the "Wide Awake" singer. I mean, they've even been caught matching hair at a pool party. And if these two do in fact, end up being a hand-holding, eskimo-kissing, full-throttle couple, we leave nothing out of the realm of possibility.
