Russell Brand and Katy Perry deny divorce rumours

The Hollywood rumour mill went into overdrive this afternoon amid talk singer Katy Perry had filed for divorce from husband of two years Russell Brand.
Many reported a split statement from the couple was imminent, while silence from Russell and Katys reps allowed the rumour to gather pace.

Now it seems the reports were false, with Showbiz Editor Dean Piper revealing he had heard from a spokesman for the British comedian.
Spoken to Russell Brand's peeps, he tweeted. Internet rumour - escalated out of control. Will check but we've not heard anything.
Russell and Katy tied the knot in a lavish wedding cere! mony in India in October 2010, but have seldom been spotted together since, after the songstress embarked on a gruelling 18-month world tour.
Earlier this week Katy blasted rumours she was expecting a baby, telling reporters: I like In-N-Out Burger and Taco Bell and if you want to make that pregnant that's your problem. I still love drinking alcohol so not yet.
