Katy Perry: House in Hollywood Not Selling

Singer Katy Perry said that she is having difficulty selling off her Hollywood Hills house.

Perry, who purchased the house with former husband Russell Brand and has retained the houses full title, has been trying to sell the home off for some time, wanting to do so privately.

But according to celebrity news website TMZ, shes not getting anywhere near the $8 million she wants. As a result, the Fireworks singer will have to sell the house via a multiple listing service. She will also have to lower the price to around $7.5 million but will may possibly accept any reasonable offer.

Last month, it was reported that Perry wants to purchase a $6.25 million home in Los Angeles, but she wants to only lease it,! according to The Huffington Post.

There have also been reports that Perry and singer John Mayer are planning their wedding.

Katy and John want to have a really intimate traditional ceremony with only their closest friends and family. Theyre both from fairly traditional families and dont want a big party, an unnamed source told British Grazia.

The source continued, They had so much fun when they visited her hometown that Katy and John have both agreed it would make sense to do it there. They loved SanYsidro because its so private and peaceful with amazing scenery.
