Katy Perry and John Mayer Seal Their Love By Amping Up Their Matchy-Matchy Style

A couple that dresses together, stays together, may well have been what Katy Perry told John Mayer before persuading him that wearing matching pink gym outfits in public would be a good idea. They werent even going to the gym!

The couple who have been dating for nearly a year now were actually returning to Los Angeles from a holiday and obviously closer than ever decided on a bit of a pink theme for the day. We've seen pictures of them and John isclutchingeven clutching alovely ummm handbag? Theyve even gone for similar head gear with Katy wearing a hairband and John a bandana.

This isn't the first time the couple have co-ordinated, just check out the image above taken at a pre-Grammies party where the couple were snapped both wearing white. We were only disappointed that John descided to forgo getting his jacket beaded...

Mr.Mayer was previously a bit of a player however he recently admitting that he would be open to marrying Katy whose first marriage to Russell Brand ended at the end of 2011. He said, Of course [I want to get married]. I mean, I'm still the kid from Connecticut. That's what you do.'

Of course, John and Katy arent the first couple to be bitten by the matchy matchy bug, oh no. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are often photographed in near on identical outfits whilst Taylor Swift always dresses depending on her boyfriend. And wh! o can forget when Posh and Becks wore those AMAZING (and for amazing please read horrific) leather outfits.
