John Mayer and Katy Perry: Proof Lovebirds Dont Agree on Everything

John Mayer and Katy Perry are head over heels and house hunting, but that doesnt mean they agree on everything. While hiking in Los Angeles on Friday, the lovebirds showed that their loyalties are divided on at least one important matter: baseball!
While the couple donned similar outfits for their workout tank tops, exercise pants, sweatshirts tied at the waist, sneakers, and baseball caps their headwear stood out because they were representing for different, rival teams. East Coast native Mayer, who was born in Connecticut and spent many years living in the Big Apple, was showing his love for the New York Yankees, while Perry, who hails from Santa Barbara, California, displayed her affection for the West Coast in her L.A. Dodgers hat.

Despite their differences on the baseball diamond, the couple who started dating in June looked happy and comfortable together, holding hands as they walked, chatting to one another and smiling.
And they should feel comfortable together because they are getting ready to shack up! People magazine reports in its new issue that Mayer, 35, and Perry, 28, are ready to take the next step in their relationship and have been house hunting in L.A.
He always insisted he needed his own place to make music, but clearly that's changed, a source said of Mayer, who owns bachelor pads in Montana and L.A.'s San Fernando Valley. Now he mostly hangs out at Katy's place in L.A.
And their trip to Washington, D.C., for the inauguration last month seemed to solidify their relationship. Perry, who has been shy about her romances following her brief marriage to Russell Brand, openly posted photos of herself with Mayer in a diary she kept for Vogue.com and referred to him as her beau.

They've both acted very private about their relationship in the past, but they seem comfortable about going public with their relationship now, the source told People. They seem very happy.
Yes they do, but the true test will be whether they can survive an entire baseball season under one roof.
