Perry previously performed for Obama at a Los Angeles fundraiser earlier this month, which was also attended by Jon Bon Jovi and Jennifer Hudson.
The artist later took to Twitter to explain to followers that she is endorsing Obama because she believes in "equal rights for all", an apparent reference to the President's pro-gay marriage stance.
Perry's appearance at an Obama rally will come just one day after Bruce Springsteen headlined a free concert for the President's supporters in Virginia.
