Katy Perry, Eva Longoria to headline Obama in Las Vegas event

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) - Some big-names are backing President Obamas run for the Whitehouse and when he visits Wednesday Katy Perry and Eva Longoria will be among the performers headlining the "America Forward!" tour.

President Obamas campaign office says the America Forward tour, a two-day non-stop tour, will crisscross the nation to gain support from voters.

The grassroots event is slated to take place in Las Vegas at Doolittle Park, located at 1016 Doolittle Avenue. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

First LadyMichelle Obama is also slated to visit Las Vegas on Friday. Obama campaign officials said details regarding her visit would be released Tuesday morning.
