Katy Perry & Justin Bieber TV Adverts BANNED In Britain

ProactivProactiv

Adverts showing Katy Perry and Justin Bieber promoting acne treatment products have been banned from British TV.

All of Proactiv's commercials have been taken off our airwaves and replaced by ones showing, erm, Gabriella Ellis from Made In Chelsea.

What was the problem with the US originals? They were "misleading", according to the Advertising Standards Authority, because they promoted an active ingredient which isn't even used in the UK version of the product.

It was ruled that the international version gave the impression that Perry and Bieber were "continued and regular users" of the North American product, not the one being sold on British shelves.

Gabriella's ad is now being shown in place of Katy's and Justin's.

Watch the US ad below.

We can make do with Gabriella right? Right.
