Katy Perry and Russell Brand, here at the 28th Annual MTV Video Music Awards, stopped by Occupy Wall Street.

Singer Katy Perry dropped by the city's newest celebrity hot spot - Occupy Wall Street's homebase at Zuccotti Park.

The curvaceous Perry and her comedian hubby, Russell Brand, were the latest A-listers to grace the protestors with their presence.

Perry, her hair dyed pink and tucked under a blue winter hat, mostly hid behind sunglasses and a purple scarf as she strolled along the demonstrators.

She did stop to pose for a photo with Brand and hip hop impresario Russell Simmons - who tweeted out the picture for the world to see Saturday.

Brand recently wrote about Zuccotti Park in an essay for his personal website, declaring that Occupy Wall Street "is already a success."

"America is awake and with it the American dream has awoken," Brand wrote.

The superstar couple followed in the footsteps of several other celebrities who trekked to the lower Broadway site. Alec Baldwin, Kanye West, Michael Moore and Susan Sarandon have all visited the protest in recent days.
