'Katy Perry embroiled in $2million lawsuit with haircare brand ghd'

Katy Perry is caught up in a multi-million dollar lawsuit with haircare brand ghd, according to reports.
TMZ reports that Jemella Group have, the company behind ghd, have asked courts to block Katy Perry's team from filing a lawsuit after the singer claimed she is owed $2million.
Katy earned $4.5million as an ambassador for the brand but the company wish to cut ties with her, the website reports.
The Fireworks singer's camp are said to claim that Katy is owed an additional $2million, based on an oral agreement.

Jemella are said to deny that an oral agreement was ever in place.
TMZ reports that a representative for Katy said: 'Jemella's attempt to embarrass Ms. Perry by including defamatory statements about her in a public filing is shameful.'
And the website reports that Katy said:'They're backing out of the deal because of an ownership change, and just throwing shade to hide their bad faith.'
